Local News in Brief : Building Permit Ordinance
- Share via
The Palos Verdes Estates City Council introduced an ordinance Tuesday that will allow the city to establish special fees for building permits sought by residents who build before seeking permission for their projects.
Last month the council decided to charge residents stiff fees for so-called “after-the-fact” permits, but the city attorney advised the council to adopt an ordinance before establishing the fee amounts by resolution.
The new ordinance, accompanied by a resolution, is to be adopted at the next council meeting Aug. 23.
