Jerry Rubin, the peace activist who last June 12 began a juice-only hunger strike to protest the violence in “Rambo III,” plans to break his 63-day fast Saturday after personally delivering a giant pizza shaped like a peace symbol to Sylvester Stallone’s house in Malibu. Rubin has tried for two months to arrange a debate with Stallone on the issue of “Rambo-style violence in the cinema and children’s toys,” but the actor has not returned any of Rubin’s phone calls. The pizza, Rubin said, is intended as a peace offering to help open a dialogue between Stallone and the peace movement. Rubin, who said he has had to tighten his belt three notches since beginning the protest, plans to break the fast with a small bite of the pizza.
