A 65-year-old man is being held in County Jail in connection with the fatal shooting of a 42-year-old woman.
According to police Sgt. David Ogilvie, patrol officers responded to a report at about 4:30 p.m. Friday of a man firing a gun and a person lying in the 700 block of F Avenue. When they arrived, they found the woman, identified as Grace Angulo, dead of several gunshot wounds.
Antonio Ruiz was questioned at the scene and arrested without incident, police said.
