Mater Dei’s Shockey Signs With Northridge

Greg Shockey, an all-county outfielder from Mater Dei High School, has signed a letter of intent to play baseball for Cal State Northridge.

Shockey, a left-handed hitter, batted .452 for Mater Dei last season.

He is the fourth player to sign with Northridge since Bill Kernen, a former Cal State Fullerton assistant, was hired as Northridge’s head coach last month.
