Brea-Olinda Advances in Basketball Event

Tammy Blackburn scored 14 points to lead Brea-Olinda High School to a 56-16 victory over St. Mary’s of Inglewood Sunday in a second-round game of the Summer Hoop Finale at Bell-Jeff High School in Burbank.
Aimee McDaniel had 10 points for Brea, which plays third-seeded Gahr in the quarterfinals tonight.
Katella advanced with a forfeit victory over Lynwood. Katella plays Glendale tonight in the quarterfinals.
