Soundproofing of Homes and Airport Growth
- Share via
As a 15-year-old and a resident of Corona del Mar all my life, I have personally experienced the problems associated with the expansion of John Wayne Airport.
Our family used to be bothered by airplane noise only occasionally. Now it is a regular occurrence to which none of us has ever become accustomed.
What explanation must I give my teachers when I’ve been asked to write a critical analysis of a TV documentary when the program was interrupted by airplane interference? Perhaps the more important question is: What are the environmental dangers to my family and me as we breathe the pollutants released by these planes?
I’ve always heard that money always speaks louder than the concerns of the family? Why?
