Douglas Arthur Hickox, a British-based film and television director, died in a London hospital on Monday after a heart attack he suffered while undergoing bypass surgery. The director of the cult classic “Theatre of Blood” and the John Wayne vehicle “Brannigan” was 59.
Hickox’s other credits include “Skyriders,” “Zulu Dawn” and most recently for television “The Dirty Dozen.”
