On the Campaign Trail With Republican George Bush
- Share via
Look Republicans, we Americans all hate negative campaigns. As a Democrat, I hope the Democratic Party lays off Bush, but Bush is getting what he asked for.
Bush set himself up for it. He puts his “silver foot in his mouth” when he explained voters’ lack of interest in his campaign early in the season by saying his supporters were at their daughters’ coming out parties.
“Where was George?” He was behind the Iron Curtain when he put down American workers.
It may be unfair to label the Republicans as the party of the rich, but who is to blame for providing the donkeys with the ammo? The leader of the elephants when he put his big foot in his you know what.
Let’s just hope nobody, rich or poor, is in the way when the other foot comes down.
