Marathon Office Supply Inc., Los Angeles, announced that it has filed a petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. “Efforts and discussions to refinance the operations and provide additional working capital are continuing,” said Steven Spector of Century City, the company’s bankruptcy attorney.
