In “Evangelicals Intensify Struggle to Stop Film” (July 12), Tim Penland quotes someone as doubting that “even the most liberal Unitarian minster” could sit through the first 20 minutes of “The Last Temptation of Christ.”
I’d welcome the opportunity to do so--although I don’t know if I qualify as “most liberal”--for I found Kazantzakis’ book fascinating and inspiring.
