A South Korean Olympic official said North Korea must accept an International Olympic Committee offer allowing it to stage five events if it wants to take part in the Olympic Games at Seoul.
The IOC offer would let North Korea stage archery, table tennis, women’s volleyball, a soccer elimination round and a bicycle road race. North Korea has said it will boycott the Games unless it becomes a co-host and gets a larger share of events.
