Toxic Spill Closes Freeway

FILLMORE, Utah — Dozens of drums containing sodium cyanide pellets spilled from a truck Thursday, forcing the closure of a nearly 60-mile stretch of Interstate 15. No injuries were reported. When mixed with water, sodium cyanide releases a gas that is extremely hazardous.
