Pullman Co. received a $380-million takeover offer from Forstmann Little & Co., topping a previous offer from a group including Pullman senior management and the Henley Manufacturing Corp. Pullman, a Princeton, N.J.-based diversified truck trailer manufacturer, said the offer for all its outstanding stock, was for $9.25 a share. The Henley management group offered July 6 to acquire the firm in a combined cash and securities bid of $7.75 a share, or about $319 million. Henley Manufacturing is a Hampton, N.H.-based maker of chemicals and automotive products.
