California Commercial Bankshares, the holding company of National Bank of Southern California in Santa Ana, reported record net income of $368,491 for the second quarter, more than double the $161,938 earned in last year’s second quarter. Revenue rose 17% to $4.1 million for the quarter from $3.5 million in last year’s second quarter. For the first six months, the company posted record net earnings of $723,332, a 49% increase over $485,797 earned in the same period last year. Revenue grew 9% to $7.6 million this year from $7 million in the same period last year. Total assets rose 37% to $178.6 million at the end of June from the $130.7 million a year earlier. Total deposits grew 34% to $159.3 million at the end of the period from $118.9 million a year earlier, while the loan portfolio grew 18% to $101.4 million this year from $86.2 million last year.
