Two local programs produced by Daniels Cablevision’s community programming department, “Take Five” and “30 Live,” were among the finalists in the 11th annual Hometown USA Video Festival awards, the “Oscars” of community-television programming. “Take Five,” which gives local residents five minutes to do anything they choose, was nominated in the innovative series category for professionals, while “30 Live,” an entertainment talk show, was nominated in the category of live programs produced by non-professionals.
