Carol A. Heywood has been appointed director of marketing and communications of the Orange County Philharmonic Society, executive director Erich Vollmer announced Monday. Heywood’s duties will include the planning of marketing, public relations and advertising efforts. Formerly, Heywood served in two capacities with the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa-- as marketing and communications coordinator, and as special projects administrator and marketing associate.
