Murder-Suicide Is Suspected in Death of Studio City Couple
An elderly Studio City couple were found shot to death in their home Saturday afternoon in what Los Angeles police said appeared to be a murder-suicide.
John D. Gault, 77, and Helen Gault, 75, were found by paramedics called to the house in the 12700 block of Sarah Street. Neighbors apparently heard the shots, said Los Angeles Police Sgt. John Staugaard.
They were pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
A coroner’s investigation is under way.
