Live Convention Coverage Begins at 6 P.M. Today

Live television coverage of the opening session of the Democratic National Convention is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. today on CBS, NBC and ABC.
Both Cable News Network and C-SPAN also will have live convention coverage at 6 p.m., preceded and followed by convention-related reporting.
Public television’s “MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour” (6:30 p.m., Channel 28; 7 p.m., Channel 15) will also be in Atlanta this week.
Issues of concern to Latinos will be covered on convention reports from KVEA Channel 52’s news director-anchor Enrique Gratas nightly at 6, and on CNN’s “Noticiero Telemundo” (6:30 p.m.).
On radio, live coverage is scheduled for 6 p.m. today on KPFK-FM (90.7) and KCRW-FM (89.9).
