Valley Dodgers Clinch Share of Division Title

Ted Higgins and Jeff Light each hit two home runs as the Valley Dodgers split a Golden State League doubleheader with San Diego Rainbow Steel at U. S. International University on Saturday.
Valley hit six home runs in a 14-5 victory in the first game to clinch at least a tie for the Northern Division championship. San Diego won the nightcap, 9-5.
In the first game, Higgins was 4 for 5 and had six runs batted in and Light was 3 for 5 and had three RBIs.
