Sales to Japanese
The Japanese already own a very substantial amount of precious Hawaiian land. I was just there: English is a second language at many of the big hotels. Here, they are buying the Riviera Country Club. I haven’t kept track of all the major sites they have purchased in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and New York.
Maybe someone will sell them the Brooklyn Bridge. Our next President might need to sell off a few more assets, like Yellowstone National Park or the Grand Canyon. All we will have left that we own will be military bases and hardware. Our White House will be sold, too, with a long-term lease-back option to buy back if and when we recover!
