Dukakis Selects Vice President

Presumably Dukakis has not yet seen the 1982 film “The Atomic Cafe,” an unnarrated compilation of documentary footage from the 1940s and 1950s, illustrating the attitudes of Americans toward the atomic bomb during those years.
Among other things, the film contains a speech by a young Texas politician named Lloyd Bentsen advocating the use of nuclear weapons in the Korean War.
