Police Searching for Missing 6-Year-Old

A 6-year-old Lake View Terrace boy was reported missing after leaving a club in Pacoima, Los Angeles police said Thursday.
J.B. McNickles left the Boys & Girls Club of San Fernando Valley in the 11200 block of Glenoaks Boulevard about 5 p.m. Wednesday before his foster mother came to pick him up, police said.
On Thursday, police conducted searches in neighborhoods around the club and around the boy’s foster home in the 11600 block of Tripoli Avenue.
Police said the boy had been placed in the foster home by juvenile authorities because of physical abuse by his natural mother.
