“Moving.” Warner. $89.95. 1987. R. A transit engineer (Richard Pryor) relocates his family from New Jersey to Idaho, with comedic complications.
“Walker.” MCA. $79.95. 1987. R. Black comedy about an American soldier of fortune in 19th-Century Nicaragua. Directed by Alex Cox (“Sid and Nancy”), this oddball picture stars Ed Harris and Marlee Matlin.
“Mandela.” HBO. $79.99. 1987. Made-for-cable biodrama about long-jailed South African political activist Nelson Mandela. Of interest to those who enjoyed the recent video release “Cry Freedom,” about another South African activist, Steven Biko.
“Action Jackson.” Lorimar. $89.95. 1987. R. Violent thriller starring Carl Weathers, Craig T. Nelson and Vanity.
“Sabrina.” Paramount. $19.95. 1954. Billy Wilder-directed romantic comedy about two men (Humphrey Bogart, William Holden) in love with a chauffeur’s daughter (Audrey Hepburn).
“Isadora.” MCA. $29.95. 1968. The restored “director’s cut” of the biofilm--all 153 minutes of it--about dancer Isadora Duncan, starring Vanessa Redgrave and directed by Karel Reisz.
“The Family Jewels.” Paramount. $19.95. 1965. Jerry Lewis in seven roles.
“The Caddy.” Paramount. $19.95. 1953. Lewis has only one role (the title one) in this slapstick comedy from his days with Dean Martin.
“Five Card Stud.” Paramount. $19.95. 1968. Dean Martin again, this time teamed up in a tough Western with Robert Mitchum.
“Journey to the Far Side of the Sun.” MCA. $29.95. 1969. Spaceship lands on duplicate of Earth.
“Prince of Darkness.” MCA. $89.95. R. John Carpenter horror film.
“The Bad News Bears Go to Japan.” Paramount. $19.95. 1978. The last sequel about the little-league team.
“Boulevard Nights.” Warner. $59.95. 1979. R. Pre-”Colors” drama about gang violence, from the viewpoint of a young Latino man (Richard Yniguez).
“A Tiger’s Tale.” Paramount. $79.95. 1987. R. Comedy that had limited release starring C. Thomas Howell as a teen-ager in love with a divorcee (Ann-Margret) twice his age.
