“Light Years” muddles invading robots, time travel, a hunky hero and a hodgepodge of other sci-fi cliches in this excruciating French animated film by Rene Laloux. The vocal cast includes Glenn Close, Christopher Plummer and David Johansen, who deserve some sort of award for delivering lines such as “Out of pride and ignorance, we forged a Deadly Evil” with a straight face.
