Don Crim has been named to the newly created position of vice president of operations for Silicon Systems. Crim joins the Tustin-based company from Advanced Micro Devices’ manufacturing facility in Austin, Tex., where he was a director of manufacturing operations. He was previously with Fairchild Semiconductor and National Semiconductor. Silicon Systems is a manufacturer of integrated circuits.
