From the “Pass Directly to Go” file: It was announced Monday that TV syndicator King World has entered into a network development agreement with ABC over the broadcasting of the TV game show version of “Monopoly.” According to Michael King, president and chief executive officer of King World, the agreement grants ABC an exclusive 5-year option for Monopoly and permits King World to distribute simultaneously a syndicated version of the series.
