Rams Begin a Week of Workouts

The Los Angeles Rams begin workouts today for rookies and selected veterans at Rams Park in preparation for the opening of training camp July 17 at Cal State Fullerton.

About 60 players, mostly free agent rookies and a few veterans, are expected at this week’s practice sessions, which conclude Saturday with a scrimmage against the Dallas Cowboys at Thousand Oaks.

Ram rookies report to Fullerton July 17, with veterans due July 21. The Rams open a five-game exhibition season July 30 against the Cincinnati Bengals in the Hall of Fame Game at Canton, Ohio.

Training camp ends Aug. 21.
