1984 U.S. Olympian Alexi Grewal of Boulder, Colo., won the 50-mile third race of the five-stage Whiskey Creek Stage bicycle race from Bishop to Mammoth Lakes in the Eastern Sierra. Phyllis Hines of Atlanta won the women’s division.

More than 1,200 cyclists are expected for the Stage IV circuit race today. The event will end Sunday.
