Valley Needs Its Own School District
The board of the Los Angeles Unified School District has rejected a Junior ROTC program requested by parents, students and teachers at Granada Hills High School. This decision follows another in which the district chose to continue to fund the Project 10 gay counseling program regardless of the wishes of many parents here in the San Fernando Valley.
I’m disturbed by the actions taken by the board. Isn’t it about time we in the Valley had our own school district?
