JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT FLIGHT ACTIVITY
May, 1988
May operations at John Wayne Airport were much like last May except in air taxi and military activities operations, which experienced a sharp dip and climb, respectively. Airport officials were not available for comment, but the administration had recently asked American Eagle air taxi to reduce its number of flights because it had exceeded its allocated number of monthly operations. The military, whose operations consist mainly of practice landings, does not need permission to use the airport.
