Molly Lynch has been appointed new artistic director of Ballet Pacifica, succeeding founding director Lila Zali who turned 70 this year. Lynch will assume responsibilities for productions, stagings and classes at the Laguna Beach-based company and school. Zali will continue in an advisory capacity and as costume designer. Ballet Pacifica was founded in 1962.
