About 100 Indian TV fans were mad as hell and not going to take it any more, so they stormed a TV station’s offices in the eastern Indian city of Cuttack on Thursday, demanding live coverage of one of India’s most popular Hindu festivals. The Press Trust of India reported that police arrested about 90 of the frustrated people, including three prominent local politicians, after they ransacked the TV station director’s office. The director had earlier said that for technical reasons it was not possible to televise the festival at Puri, 38 miles from Cuttack in Orissa state.
