Fellowships Created for Engineering Students

The Air Force Office of Scientific Research has created a fellowship program at the UCLA School of Engineering and Applied Science to foster research in microwave and millimeter-wave research.

The graduate student fellowships, which provide support up to $23,760 a year, are intended to support studies at the school’s Center for High-Frequency and High-Speed Electronics.

“UCLA is the leading institution in the United States in all aspects of microwave and millimeter-wave research,” said Prof. Neville C. Luhman Jr., director of the fellowship program. “These fellowships will enable use to support graduate students of the highest caliber and to conduct research in the forefront of our field.”
