Semco Reports 47% Jump in Operating Income

Semco Instruments said its pretax operating income in 1987 jumped 47% from the previous year on a 14% gain in sales.
Semco, a producer of sensors and other electronic equipment used to monitor the performance of aircraft engines and other aerospace products, said its operating income rose to $225,023 from $152,767, and that sales climbed to $3.91 million from $3.41 million.
Semco moved its headquarters earlier this year from North Hollywood to Valencia.
