Mountain Lion Hunting Season

Albert C. Taucher, president of the Fish and Game Commission, who states, “We did everything by the book,” when reacting to the Mountain Lion Preservation Foundation’s environmental impact report concerning the killing of the endangered California mountain lion, does not mention the book by which the Department of Fish and Game does “everything by.” I suspect it to be, “The Day of the Hunter.”
