Baker’s Campaign

For years C. David Baker has served Irvine diligently and faithfully as city councilman and mayor. He has been instrumental in building the beautiful city of Irvine through most of my 16 years as a resident. I am proud of his accomplishments.
It is an irony that Dave Baker’s single campaign-pressured error should create such monumental career problems and doom-saying in the media. He corrected the mistake and stopped payment before any funds were misused. He is left with a huge campaign debt and threats to the security of his home and future.
Compassion dictates that Dave Baker must know that all of us who voted for him still support him. Years of service to our hometown of Irvine are not canceled by one mistake.
