Zero-Tolerance Raids by Police in Santa Ana

I just want to congratulate the Santa Ana Police Department for its sweeping drug seizures. While this may not be the best answer to the drug problem, I believe that it is another effective tool to be used.
For those youngsters from Yorba Linda who indicated their rights were violated: They should think about people’s rights to travel on roads and highways in a safer manner. Just as the drunk driver is a potential killer, so does the illegal drug make the vehicle a possible tool of destruction in a manner not accepted by our society.
When the youngster said if buying and driving is going to put me in a position of no wheels, “I’ll never buy drugs again,” I think the law has had its intended results.
