Stabelfeldt Hired as Loyola Assistant

Dave Stabelfeldt, an assistant baseball coach at Cal State Northridge for six years who worked as a scout for the Minnesota Twins last season, has been named the top assistant at Loyola Marymount.
Stabelfeldt, 35, played at Cleveland High and Pierce College. He was a catcher in the San Francisco Giants organization for five years.
