Company Penalty Violation EXXON CO. USA, $3,000 Improper venting of equipment, Seal Beach resulting in excessive hydrogen sulfide emissions. SUPERIOR FIREPLACE CO., $1,800 Operating paint spray booths Fullerton contrary to permit conditions; excessive emissions of volatile organic compounds. SO. CALIFORNIA EDISON, $1,500 Excessive nitrogen oxide Huntington Beach emissions from a generating unit. AVIANTE BY JEAN ELLEN, $1,050 Operating without proper permits. Garden Grove BRICE SOUTHERN, INC., $800 Excessive emissions of volatile La Habra organic compounds.
