Hanoi Jane Fonda apologized for a single incident at a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun emplacement (Saturday Letters, June 25). Nothing more. The most effective weapon shouldered by the left in ’72 remains its most effective spokesperson in ’88.
Am I being cynical, or do I smell a congressional campaign in the offing for Tom Hayden?
Sounds to me like someone needs to clean up some old baggage before Tom can head for Washington.
