SEATTLE — An Emery Air Freight DC-8 with hydraulic problems blew out four tires when it landed at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on Thursday, forcing one of airport’s two main runways to close, authorities said.
A small fire broke out because of the rough landing, but airport crews quickly extinguished it and the five crew members were evacuated with no injuries, Port of Seattle officials said.
