Meese Aide Who Resigned Joins New York Law Firm

Former Deputy Atty. Gen. Arnold I. Burns, who quit the Justice Department in March over controversy surrounding Atty. Gen. Edwin Meese III, became a partner Tuesday in a prestigious New York law firm.

Burns will work on corporate litigation and administrative and regulatory matters at the 113-year-old firm of Proskauer Rose Goetz & Mendelsohn.
