Atlanta U., Clark College to Merge Into New School

ATLANTA — The trustees of Atlanta University and Clark College have voted to merge the schools into a new entity to be called Clark Atlanta University.
The merger approved Friday will combine Atlanta, the financially troubled graduate school of a consortium of historically black colleges that includes Morehouse College and Spelman College, with Clark, an undergraduate school.
