In “Caddyshack II,” our sources tell us, Dan Ackroyd has only three scenes--for fewer than 10 minutes total. But he does get to attack a gopher--with a machine gun and a crossbow--just like Bill Murray in the original!
“Dead Pool” will have a “Bullit”-like chase scene in S.F., except the vehicle chasing Clint Eastwood (as Dirty Harry) is a miniature car-- armed with an explosive!
In Universal’s upcoming comic romp “Midnight Run,” Robert De Niro and Charles Grodin dive into the icy Colorado River to avoid pursuers. But it won’t really be the Colorado--the possibility of hypothermia last February forced the production to use warmer New Zealand waters . . . and hidden wet suits for the actors.
