Darrell Fick, the associate coach of the USC men’s swimming team the last five years, has been named head coach of the USC women’s team.
Also, Cynthia Woodhead, a two-time Olympian and former world record-holder, has been named an assistant coach. Woodhead graduated from USC in 1987.
Fick, 32, replaces Don LaMont, who resigned last month after nine years at USC. LaMont, had a 70-25 dual meet record. He coached more than 60 All-Americans and 9 Olympians.
