U.S. Pilot Is Missing in Collision Off Iceland

REYKJAVIK, Iceland — Coast guards searched Tuesday for an American pilot whose plane crashed into the Atlantic after a collision with another light plane, aviation authorities said.
The two U.S.-registered single-engine planes collided Monday night 130 miles west of Iceland on a flight from Goose Bay, Labrador. The missing pilot has not been identified. The second pilot, identified as Chase Osborne, managed to fly his damaged plane to Iceland.
