Barbara Darder has been appointed chief financial officer of Cannon Group, succeeding Frederick Scheer, who resigned from that post effective May 31. Darder, who is also a director, had been chief operating officer and secretary since April. The firm’s largest shareholder, Giancarlo Parretti, and others in his European group took control of the Hollywood film maker in April, and Parretti became chief executive.
