A man entered a Huntington Beach shoe store, selected a pair of shoes, then robbed the store of $150 in cash from the cash register and fled on foot--carrying his new shoes in a bag with the cash--Huntington Beach police said Sunday.
The Fayva’s store in the 16000 block of Beach Boulevard was robbed after the man simulated a weapon and demanded money of a shoe clerk, police said.
the robber was described as male, white, about 30 years old, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing 210 pounds. He wore a short-sleeved, tan dress shirt, blue shorts and a baseball cap. He had short, brown, military-style hair and wore dark sunglasses.
