Las Pulgas Canyon Not Open to Public

On June 12, the Westside section carried an article by Kenneth J. Garcia regarding Las Pulgas Canyon. On Page 4, the (caption) depicts individuals walking in the canyon. On Page 1, the caption . . . refers to hikers attracted to the canyon. Thus, inadvertently, your article perhaps encourages people to view Las Pulgas Canyon as a nature walk or hiking trail open to the public.
As legal counsel for the prospective purchaser of the property, Neil Senturia, we must emphasize that property is entirely in private hands. It is not open to the public. At various points on the property, “No Trespassing” signs are conspicuously posted. . . . Las Pulgas Canyon is not open to hikers and other sightseers.
