In reference to Quibbles & Bits (Outtakes, June 12), and in order to dispel rumors of the current Disney management being aggressive (a.k.a. cheap ): a newly hired Donald Duck at Disneyland, also 4-foot-3 to 4-foot-6, is salaried at $4.75, a full 50 cents above Universal’s Studios Tour’s future E.T.s at $4.25.
But before rushing to Disney’s employment offices, can you tell us how much Knott’s Berry Farm pays Bigfoot, or am I too short?

Knott’s wants to keep the Bigfoot legend alive, says a park spokeswoman, and doesn’t have little (or big) people dressed in Bigfoot suits. However, its regular-sized Snoopy-suited characters start at $5.28 per hour part-time and get $5.57 full-time (which goes to $6.29 after 90 days).
